If you are struggling financially or would like to significantly boost your wealth, consider this:
Your habits are the primary cause of your current financial situation.
You have probably heard it only takes a few times of doing things in a certain way for it to become habit. For instance:
If you brush your teeth before washing your face or put on both socks before putting on your shoes instead of one sock, one shoe; you are always likely to complete your morning hygiene and dressing routine in this order.
- Be prepared for emergencies by maintaining a cash reserve. Having a budget will help you stay on track with your emergency fund
- Put away your credit cards. If you don't need it, and you can't pay cash for it out what you have available. Don't buy it.
- Manage your investments, instead of just setting and forgetting or trying to time the market.
- Work with a financial management coach to help you develop a realistic budget.
When you see your debt decrease and your savings and investments increase, you will know you are on the right track.
